It's funny....
It's funny to me that after being with someone for 15 years they can't seem to even manage to help Barbie, Jr. buy me something for Mother's Day because "he wouldn't know what to get for me" but a friend I've have for 8 months went out of town, saw a bracelet and *knew* I would love it and bought it for me.

girl I can so relate - he sounds like my ex husband!
You know, you might meet a great person who can pick out the best gifts, and always remember your birthdays and always gives you lavish gifts for every occasion, and he might also have the most annoying of habits, like telling you how bad everything is for you all the time, like eating raw eggs in cookie dough, listening to loud music, and dying your hair, and telling you the cholesterol content of the food you're eating every time. Wait, that sounds like a parent.
